Tips for Building Relationships on Campus

Reaching out to key individuals and groups is a great way to spread the word about your movement and will bolster your efforts to develop a presence on your campus.

1. Meet with members and/or staff at your campus Hillel

The campus Hillel will likely be curious about the launch of ZFA and interested in hearing more about some of your goals and ideas for how you plan to build a Zionist voice on your campus.

2. Identify potential leaders within the activist community on your campus

Set up a meeting to discuss the goals of your new campus movement and possible areas for collaboration.

3. Set up a meeting with your college Democrats and/or Republicans chapters

Israel is an extremely politicized issue and will likely come up around election time. These are important constituencies with whom to build a relationship now so that you can work together in the future.

4. Contact any professors who might be supportive of your work

Inquire about the possibility for holding an informal educational session and/or independent study courses for interested students on your campus to discuss topics relevant to the Zionist revolution.
